The HK hotel was strange for Luke. He had a hard time adjusting to not being in the same place for over a week. Andy and Luke were up and roaming the hotel in the early am hours. At least Julia and I got to sleep a little.
Our flight from HK to NY was loooong but good. Luke slept over half the flight, even though he cried a few times. Too many strange faces. Julia was entertained with the movies, games and songs. We had a good flight considering we're travelling with a 2 and 4 year old.
Then we get to NY and find out our flight to home was cancelled due to some crazy combination of storms blending in with TS Nicole. We checked into a hotel close to JFK and plan to leave on 10/1 at 12:55pm. Not sure if that will happen either. So we can't seem to get away from Tropical Storms no matter where we are in the world....
It is now 2am on Friday 10/1 and we're all up watching the Weather Channel. It'll be a while before we can adjust to the time change. Hope to be home soon.
Glad you at least made it back to the states okay, and hope that by now you are home!
