9/25 - Qingxin City

On Saturday we visited the city where Luke spent his first two years. The city of Qingxin is located about an hour and a half from where we're staying. Both Luke and Julia slept on the way there but were wide awake and active on the way back. We captured as much information as we could for Luke.


We stopped by the Qingxin hospital

The social welfare institute where Luke stayed offered us tea when we arrived.

Luke remembered his nanny when we got to the activity room and she instantly hugged him and game him some chinese sweets.

He then shared them with all his friends.

Overall we had a good day today and we were happy that Luke wasn't sad when he left his nanny and friends. He seemed ready to go and said bye to them.
