9/17 - Hong Kong Island

We took advantage of Julia's 3am wake up call and had an early breakfast and booked a half day tour of Hong Kong island. We visited a temple, Victoria Harbour tram ride to the peak, a fishing village and an outdoor market. Hong Kong is very metropolitan, has lots of people, a variety of shopping experiences (low and high end) and is very expensive. We enjoyed our mini tour today and symphony of lights show where the Hong Kong buildings does a light show. Tomorrow we leave for Guangzhou by train. Our guide will help us do some shopping to get settled in for Luke on Sunday. We wonder if he knows we're coming for him...

  2. What great pictures! We're looking forward to seeing you united with Luke. If you get a chance, tell the orphanage director/staff that Ami (Xue'er - pronounced "shray") is doing really well. We'll be praying for you!
