9/27 - Visa application

Echo picked up Luke's Chinese passport on Sunday and submitted his visa application today. We didn't need to go there so we had a free day. Since Luke had a much better night sleeping and a lot less coughing we felt it was ok to take him out today. We're glad the meds kicked in quickly.

We visited Shamian island again, had some lunch, went back to the hotel, reviewed some paperwork with Echo, then she took us to a tea house close to our hotel. It was fun for us but not at all fun for the kids. We had some tea but didn't stay too long.

We're on the home stretch now. Tomorrow is the visa ceremony and we leave for Hong Kong on Wednesday after we pick up Luke's visa. We pick up his visa at 3pm and the train leaves at 4:12pm. It's close but Echo says it's been done before. We hope our trip back is a smoothe one.

    I am so glad everything is going so well. I enjoyed reading your blog. It's great being able to see all the details and the kids having so much fun. Can't wait to meet Luke in person (hope he's feeling better). We'll call you when we visit that area again. Have a safe trip back home.

    i so love his Miami jersey! Its good to see that he is starting off on the right foot! Ms. Julia looks like she had alot of fun in the pool!

    Praise the Lord that he is doing better, and you are almost home!!!!
    I am so glad you got to go back to the SWI, and that is went well!! That was a gift of closure for your sweet new son!!!!

    Luke looks soooooo cute in his Wade jersey - a true Heat fan already. Can't wait to see him and big sister Julia. I'm glad Luke is feeling better.     AHHHH!!!! Love the Jersey... Adrianna has the same one! So we definitly have to get a pic of both of them together in their WADE jerseys!!! :)
